Hello and welcome to our December 2018 eNewsletter! I wish you all the best this Holiday Season and hope that you will be able to spend quality time with those you love and reflect on all the blessings you experienced in 2018!
As I look back on 2018, I am extremely grateful for the wonderful year our company experienced. We achieved a number of major milestones this year:
- Surpassed $4 billion in wealth transferred to our clients.
- Continued expansion with new offices in Austin, TX, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, and New York City to provide a higher level of service in key markets.
- Acquired Talis Advisors which will now allow us to provide wealth management services to our clients.
- Finally, in November, being named Investment Banking Firm of the Year by the M&A Advisor for the third year in a row.
This last bullet point is most notable. The M&A Advisor Awards are peer-to-peer awards; we were chosen based on input from many of the same firms we compete with. It is a high honor indeed when you earn the respect of your peers, especially three years in a row!
We are very thankful as 2018 draws to a close; thankful for the hard work of our associates and the wonderful clients we have the honor to serve each and every day.
