Dynamic Ditchers Acquired by Elmer’s Manufacturing
Elmer’s Manufacturing Ltd. acquired Dynamic Ditchers Inc., a client of Generational Capital Markets, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC, on June 11, 2018.
Dynamic Ditchers, based in Dugald, Manitoba, Canada, designs, manufactures, and distributes branded soil moving machines using proprietary processes and innovative patented designs.
The company, founded in 2007, has designed and built a premiere soil moving machine called the Wolverine Extreme Rotary Ditcher that works in conjunction with automated GPS systems. The product was developed to provide an alternative to traditional soil scrapers that requires collecting, hauling, and then spreading of the soil to create water flow in farmland.
Dynamic Ditchers sells to dealers and distributors throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. The Wolverine Extreme Rotary Ditcher will continue to be available at existing dealers as well as being available at all Elmer’s dealers.
“Dynamic Ditchers is very pleased with the growth we have experienced, especially in the past few years; however, if this growth continues, we would have needed to expand our facility beyond what we can do with the property we now have,” said Anthony Vaags, Co-Owner of Dynamic Ditchers.
“Elmer’s has a very impressive, large manufacturing plant, a remarkable engineering team, a wider distribution network and a better parts warehouse that we felt would better serve new and existing customers. We would like to thank all our existing customers for helping us grow our company to this point.”
Elmer’s Manufacturing, based in Altona, Manitoba, designs, develops, and manufactures specialized agricultural equipment in the heart of the Manitoban Red River Valley. They were founded in 1978 and have grown from building row crop cultivators to manufacturing an extensive and diversified group of equipment lines for any size farming operation.
Product lines include row crop cultivators, edible bean cutters, header and swather transports, high capacity Haul-Master Grain Carts and the revolutionary Super 7 Harrow.
Dynamic Ditchers’ products will immediately compliment the current offerings from Elmer’s Manufacturing, which include HaulMaster Grain Cart, Super 7 Harrow and Transfer Tracks.
“We’re extremely excited to help continue the vision of Dynamic Ditchers and to bring another high-quality product into our production and dealer network,” said Elmer’s President Mike Friesen.
“Anthony and Stan have done a great job building this product to where it is today, and we’re ecstatic to take it to the next level.”
Generational Capital Markets Managing Director Phil Pizzurro, with support from VP Mark Galovic, successfully closed the deal. Senior Managing Director Tom Braun established the initial relationship with Dynamic Ditchers.
“Dynamic Ditchers is an exceptionally run business that has produced multiple industry-disrupting products for the agricultural sector,” said Pizzurro.
“Elmer’s is the ideal buyer to generate accelerated growth, creating incremental value and opportunities for customers.”
