Builders Appliance Center acquired by Ferguson Enterprises
Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Builders Appliance Center LLC (BAC), headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, by Ferguson Enterprises Inc., (Ferguson) headquartered in Newport News, Virginia. The acquisition closed on February 9, 2015.
BAC is a family-owned appliance dealer located in Englewood, Colorado and is the largest luxury appliance dealer in the state. The company was founded in 1993 to provide builders and designers with expertise and support with ever-changing appliance innovations. BAC will continue to offer the great selection, knowledgeable staff and amazing networking events that builders and designers have enjoyed throughout the years in its award-winning showroom.
The company will now operate as BAC Appliance Center, a Ferguson enterprise. "We are excited about joining the Ferguson team," said Ken Jensen, CEO of BAC. "Our shared cultures of continuous improvement allows us to join forces and provide great service and support to the building industry in Colorado." Managing Director Stephen Crisham and his team, including Vice President Mike Meredith, led the Generational Equity deal team that advised BAC on the transaction. Founded in 1953, Ferguson is the largest wholesale plumbing distributor in the U.S., and is also the fourth largest distributor of heating and cooling equipment.
