Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its clients, Swanson Fire Protection, Inc., and Residential & Commercial Fire Protection, Inc., to Baymark Partners. The acquisitions both closed March 4, 2021.
Swanson Fire Protection, Inc. (SFP), located in Jacksonville, Florida, is a privately-owned designer, installer, and maintenance provider of fire and sprinkler systems within the regional marketplace. Over its longstanding history, the Company has worked on a broad set of projects within the residential and commercial industries.
SFP provides the installation of new fire protection systems such as sprinkler and fire suppression systems. SFP’s staff of designers construct fire protection and suppression systems that are specific to each facility, that will detect and respond to fire conditions to ensure the safety of occupants and reduce any potential damage.
SFP generates the majority of its revenue from sprinkler system installations and service work. The Company currently designs all fire and sprinkler systems in-house through sophisticated software, which includes AutoCAD.
Located in Waldorf, Maryland, Residential & Commercial Fire Protection, Inc. (RCFP) is a leading designer and installer of fire sprinkler systems and specializes in commercial construction, residential construction, and service, repair, and inspections. In operation for over 30 years, the Company has developed a broad set of capabilities and has completed work on a variety of projects of various sizes.
RCFP offers clients a turnkey, seamless process, from design to installation of fire sprinkler systems. Serving the greater area of Waldorf, Maryland, the Company focuses attention on serving a diverse group of clients within the commercial and residential construction segment, including custom homes.

Senior Managing Director Roger Dean created the initial relationship with SFP. Fergusson’s team, led by Senior M&A Advisor, Jerry Cohen, with support from Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corey Painter, completed the RCFP deal.
