Generational Equity Announces Sale of KC Computers to Computers Nationwide

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, KC Computers of Whitewater, Wisconsin, to Computers Nationwide of Wheeling, Illinois. The acquisition closed February 1, 2017. Details were not disclosed.
KC Computers is a computer technology re-seller and services provider to customers in Wisconsin.
The company's services include remote support, remote backup, managed services and on-site traditional "truck-roll" services. It is also an authorized service provider for Lenovo PCs and IBM Business Enterprise Servers.
Computers Nationwide is a privately owned company that provides IT communication systems and services throughout Chicago and the Chicagoland area.
The business specializes in commercial surveillance systems, and its staff continues to develop expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining all types of communications systems to meet clients' needs since the company's inception in 2010.
Generational Equity Managing Director Douglas Smith's team, headed by trusted affiliate Jerry Yocum with support from Generational Equity Vice Presidents Musa Jagne and Ryan Johnson, successfully closed the deal.
"Both parties were patient but intent on getting this transaction to the finish line," said Yocum. "The transaction is a great fit for both buyer and seller as each has strengths in different areas of the technology space."
