Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Spectrum Technologies, Inc. (Spectrum), headquartered in Paxinos, Pennsylvania, by Transcat, Inc., headquartered in Rochester, New York. The acquisition closed on December 31, 2015.

Founded in 1986, Spectrum is an ISO 9001:2008 Registered, NIST traceable, calibration organization that provides commercial instrument calibration and test equipment repair services for a wide variety of measurement and test equipment.
