Generational Group Receives 38 Nominations for 21st Annual M&A Advisor Awards

Nominations include recognition as Investment Banking Firm of the Year, Valuation Firm of the Year, and Consulting Firm of the Year.

Generational Group, a leading investment banking firm for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce that it has 38 finalist nominations for this year’s M&A Advisor Awards. 

The nominations include Investment Banking Firm of the Year, Valuation Firm of the Year, and Consulting Firm of the Year. Generational Group is the only firm to be nominated in each of these three marquee categories.

The winners will be announced at the 21st Annual M&A Advisor Awards in New York City on November 15, 2022.

In 2021, Generational received awards from The M&A Advisor for Private Equity Deal of the Year, Materials Deal of the Year, and Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year. 

The M&A Advisor, now in its 24th year, was founded to offer insights and intelligence on mergers and acquisitions, establishing itself as the industry’s leading media outlet in 1998. Today, The M&A Advisor is recognized as the world’s premier leadership organization for mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate finance professionals, delivering a range of integrated services from offices in New York and London.

In addition to the firm-of-the-year nominations, Generational’s nominations span 21 categories recognizing excellence in deals across type, industry, and size. These include: 

• Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year

• Cross-Border Deal of the Year

• Private Equity Deal of the Year 

• Deal of the Year in industries including Energy, Financials, Materials, Consumer Staples, Industrials, Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Utilities 

• Deal of the Year in valuation ranges $10MM to $25MM, $25MM to $50MM, $50MM to $100MM, and $100MM to $250MM

The winners will be chosen by an independent judging panel of industry experts evaluating nominations representing over 250 individual companies from across the world.
