Generational Group Wins Multiple 2023 M&A Advisor Awards

Generational Group, a leading investment banking firm for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce that it has once again been recognized by The M&A Advisor at the 22nd Annual M&A Advisor Awards – the premier awards event recognizing the finest deals, dealmakers, and M&A-related service providers of the past year.

Generational Group was honored with the following awards:

LEADERSHIP AWARD AND INDUCTION INTO THE HALL OF FAME: Ryan Binkley, Generational President and CEO. With his induction into The M&A Advisor Hall of Fame, Ryan joins prominent past inductees such as Wilbur Ross, Bruce Wasserstein, Rodgin Cohen and David Morgenthaler.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR: Randy Kamin, Generational Group’s Executive Managing Director and Group Leader.

CONSULTING FIRM OF THE YEAR: Generational Consulting Group led by T.D. Decker, President. This is the second year in a row Generational has been awarded Consulting Firm of the Year.

M&A DEAL OF THE YEAR ($50MM – $75MM): Acquisition of FR Conversions by Tide Rock Holdings – Deal Team of David Fergusson, Executive Managing Dir, M&A-Technology Practice Leader, and Corey Painter, Managing Director, M&A. The initial relationship was established by David Pickard, Senior Managing Director.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEAL OF THE YEAR: Acquisition of Reilly Electrical Contractors by Crete Mechanical Group – Deal Team of David Fergusson, Executive Managing Dir, M&A-Technology Practice Leader, Moses Shmueli, Managing Director, M&A, and Tristan Keeffe, Senior Vice President, M&A. The initial relationship was established by Randy Kamin, Executive Managing Director and Team Leader.

Of special significance to the Generational family, Corey Massella, Partner, UHY, LLP, was recognized as the recipient of the 2023 Thomas Farrell Memorial Award. In 2017, The M&A Advisor established the Thomas Farrell Memorial Award to honor the memory of Thomas “Tom” Farrell, former Executive Vice President of Generational Equity and to celebrate his contributions to the mergers and acquisitions industry.
