Generational Group Wins Multiple M&A Advisor Awards

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, was honored to win a number of awards at The M&A Advisor’s 18th annual M&A Awards gala on November 19, 2019.

Awards included:

Private Equity Deal of the Year $75MM to $100MM for the acquisition of Spectrum Solutions and Go-2 Fulfillment by DW Healthcare Partners. Generational dealmakers Don Ho and Michael Goss co-managed the deal.

M&A Deal of the Year $50MM-$75MM for the acquisition of Solid Systems CAD Services by Park Place Technologies. Tom Staszak was lead dealmaker on the transaction assisted by Chris Gain. The deal was also co-brokered with Dave Cummings at Agile Equity.

Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year $25MM to $50MM for the acquisition of Transportation Equipment by The Andersons, Inc. Brenen Hofstadter and Julio Dominguez closed the transaction.

Emerging Leader Award went to Phil Pizzurro, Managing Director Mergers & Acquisitions for Generational Capital Markets.

The 18th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala honored the professionals whose activities set the standard for M&A transactions. This year, over 200 nominees, representing over 500 companies, became finalists for the awards. An independent judging committee of 28 top M&A industry experts determined the ultimate recipients of the awards which were revealed “Academy-Award style” at the gala.
