Terry Johnson in New Executive Role with Generational Equity

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce that Terry K. Johnson has accepted the position of Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer with the firm. He had worked in a business development capacity with Generational Equity for several years prior.
Mr. Johnson graduated from Auburn University in 1983 with a B.S. in Organization Management and soon joined his family firm, Johnson Industries. At the time the company had annual revenues of less than $1 million, with 5 employees.
In 2001 Terry was named CEO of the company and led it both domestically and internationally through hyper growth and change, reaching annual revenues of $300 million with over 800 associates.
Johnson Industries was recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the nation's foremost leading companies in organizational culture development, specifically in retaining and motivating associates. Johnson Industries was acquired by a Fortune 200 NYSE public company in 1999.
Mr. Johnson then served as President/CEO of this public company subsidiary for 5 years, with revenues more than doubling in this time period.
His new role with Generational Equity will include leading the sales and marketing organization, including its seminar staff, seminar leaders, managing directors, and corporate development. He will also assist the firm's president in overall corporate strategic planning and development efforts.
