Cole Preston represents privately held companies for M&A, divestitures, strategic alliances, and deal structuring.

Before joining Generational, Cole gained experience working with investment banks, ranging from boutique firms to one of the largest middle-market investment banks in the US. He has collaborated with and led teams to close dozens of transactions successfully throughout his career. Over the past 25 years, he has engaged with hundreds of middle-market businesses and their stakeholders. Cole’s objective is to surpass his clients’ expectations by utilizing his vast experience and the resources of the Generational Equity team to facilitate successful M&A transactions.

Cole earned his MBA and law degrees from Seattle University and resides in Newport Beach, California.
