Mr. Cory Strickland currently serves as a Generational Group Senior Managing Director leading a team of M&A Advisors and working directly with private middle market business owners in developing and executing their exit strategies.

As a Senior Managing Director, Mr. Strickland oversees a team of M&A Advisors focusing on the lower middle market on the sell side of a transaction.

Our team participates in all facets of the M&A process from valuation, preparing marketing materials, identifying prospective buyers and investors, negotiating creative structures that maximize shareholder’s value as well as managing the marketing, due diligence, and legal phases to facilitate deal closings.

Mr. Strickland has been a serial entrepreneur in the restaurant and real estate space who has owned, operated, bought, and sold multiple businesses in his career, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients. Prior to joining Generational Group, Mr. Strickland owned The 86 Group, a boutique investment banking firm that was acquired by Generational Group in early 2022.

Mr. Strickland holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University with a concentration in statistics and is a licensed real estate Salesperson in the State of Texas. Mr. Strickland is an avid triathlete who has completed 13 Ironman distance triathlons. He lives in Richardson and is married with two daughters.
