David Ohrvall serves as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Generational Group, bringing over 25 years of proven excellence in business leadership. He has been instrumental in driving various advancements within the company, bringing transformative leadership across diverse organizational aspects.

As CMO, David oversees all marketing operations, including Business Intelligence, Brand and Creative, Content Development, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Web and Social, Advertising, Brand Ambassadors, Master Classes, Promotional Events, and the Professional Alliance Program.

Initially joining as a Conference Leader and Consultant, David has since spearheaded significant projects, leading Research and Business Intelligence initiatives while collaborating with select Generational Consulting Group clients on Strategic Growth Plan development. He has also helped drive the growth of our Private Client Group.

With expertise in mergers and acquisitions, David has trained numerous business owners, leveraging his insights to optimize growth and exit strategies. He has also developed innovative tools such as the Maximum Value Model (MVM) and the Deal GPA tool, enhancing clients’ ability to be fully prepared when going to market.

Prior to Generational, David held managerial roles at Bain & Company and Accenture, advising multinational corporations across various industries on strategic solutions. Additionally, as an entrepreneur, he pioneered case interview problem-solving training, reaching thousands of students globally through workshops and his books.

David holds degrees in Marketing, Finance, and Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as an undergraduate and MBA.

In his personal time, David enjoys family activities with his wife and four children.
