Don Ho joined Generational Group in September 2004; and currently holds the position of Managing Director, M&A in the Dealmaking Group. Mr. Ho is also the Team Leader for the Food, Beverage, and Related Service Sector. Additionally, Don Ho specializes in the Manufacturing & Fabrication, Business & Financial Services, and Healthcare & Life Sciences Sectors given his tremendous experience and many deal closings.

As a seasoned Dealmaker, Don Ho assists private middle-market business owners to develop and execute a custom exit strategy. During the M&A process, Mr. Ho is responsible for pre-launch diligence, business valuations, identifying and qualifying potential acquirers, confidentially executing marketing initiatives, managing due diligence, and negotiating letters of intents (LOIs) and definitive purchase agreements. For this role, Mr. Ho brings over 20 years’ experience and knowledge of corporate valuation methods, financial analysis and modeling, industry and economic research, risk and probability analytics, quality of earnings assessments (QoE), and general M&A nuances.

Prior to his current position, Don Ho was principally responsible for developing Generational Group’s proprietary valuation models and templates, performing Corporate Valuations, and authoring Confidential Information Memorandums as Project Manager, M&A.

During his tenure, Don Ho has consulted and valued over 400 private middle market companies operating in a variety of industries with company revenues ranging from a million to in excess of half a billion dollars. As Lead Dealmaker, Don Ho has closed over half a billion dollars in aggregate Enterprise Value for GE clients. Mr. Ho also has a network and tremendous experience working with international buyers, which he used to sell his clients to Canadian and European Public Companies. Additionally, Don Ho has completed minority buyouts, leverage recapitalization, and has raised capital through minority offerings to fund future growth initiatives and provide minor liquidity for the principals.

In 2014, Don Ho was the Lead Dealmaker for the acquisition of UST Corporation by Tregaron Capital, which subsequently won the “M&A Deal of the Year Award ($10MM – $20MM).” In 2019, Don Ho was the Lead Dealmaker for the acquisition of the Consolidated Companies of Spectrum Solutions and Go-2 Fulfillment by DW Healthcare Partners, which subsequently won the “M&A Deal of the Year Award ($75MM – $100MM),” as well as “International M&A Healthcare and Life Science Deal of the Year Award” and the “International M&A Private Equity Deal of the Year Award ($50MM – $100mm).” In 2021, Don Ho was the Lead Dealmaker for the acquisition of Eastern Business Forms (EBF) by Gen Cap America, which subsequently won the “International M&A Private Equity Deal of the Year Award ($10MM – $100MM) and the International M&A Deal of the Year Award ($25MM – $50MM).” In 2023, Don Ho was the Lead Dealmaker for the acquisition of SSM Holdings, LLC dba Ontronics by RGF Capital, which subsequently won the “International M&A Advisor Deal of the Year Award ($10MM – $25MM).”In 2024, Don Ho was the Lead Dealmaker for the acquisition of RP Foods by Benford Capital Partners, which subsequently won the “International M&A Advisor Private Equity Deal of the Year Award ($50MM – $100MM).” To be accepted in February 2025, Mr. Ho has also won the M&A Atlas Award Private Equity Deal of the Year Award.

Don Ho holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to Generational, Mr. Ho worked at Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase in various analytical and management capacities.
