Mr. Van Voorhis works directly with business owners who are exploring the sale of their companies.  He is responsible for the review, analysis and selection of companies ready to enter the M&A exit planning process.

His understanding of the mergers and acquisitions marketplace, combined with his experience working with diverse businesses in a wide range of industries, provides Mr. Van Voorhis with a unique perspective. He has the insight and expertise to assist entrepreneurs in determining the most appropriate and profitable time to exit their company. Mr. Van Voorhis brings to Generational Group a comprehensive business background providing clients with the critical advice and recommendations essential for a successful business. During his 34-year career in exit planning, he has advised clients, institutions and high net worth family businesses on complex financial decisions including: exit planning, estate & capital gains planning, private equity, private placements and tax planning. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Van Voorhis has had ownership in five companies and engaged in multiple acquisitions.

Mr. Van Voorhis earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.
