On January 3, 2017, private equity firm Proviso Capital closed a deal to acquire Cache Inc. dba Kerr Consulting, a Generational Equity client.

Kerr Consulting headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, is a full-service provider of a range of IT services for small, medium and large businesses. The company offers a variety of accounting and ERP solutions, and implements and provides development services for CRM and human resources software. They boast more than 2,200 clients in all 50 states and in more than 20 countries.

Located in New York City, Proviso Capital invests in lower middle market companies with strong management teams and a solid operating history with hyper growth potential.

Generational Equity Managing Director Michael Goss and his team, headed by trusted M&A advisor Gary Milleson, and VPs Bryan Gooden and Luan Ly, led the deal to a successful close. “Like most deals, we had a few challenges, but the great relationship and positive attitude that was formed between Dave Kerr and the Proviso team was the answer to bring this to a positive close,” said Milleson.
