Cambrian Granite & Stone II, Inc. Acquired by Ownershift, Inc.

We are pleased to announce the sale of our client, Cambrian Granite & Stone II, Inc., in its sale to Ownershift, Inc. The acquisition closed October 4, 2024.

Located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Cambrian Granite & Stone II, Inc., founded in 1997, serves eastern Iowa, southwest Wisconsin, and northern Illinois. Specializing in natural stone countertops, the company handles both residential and commercial projects, including hospitals and educational institutions. Renowned for its quality service and skilled staff, Cambrian Granite combines advanced technology with a strong commitment to customer care. They welcome customers to visit their showroom and engage with their dedicated team.

Marc Schweer, President of Cambrian, added, “When my brother Brent and I bought Cambrian 15 years ago, we set out to become the premier supplier of natural stone countertops in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area by focusing on quality service. We achieved that goal. Brent and I decided it was time to pass the torch to a new generation so that we can focus on our passion – the family farm. We were introduced to several potential buyers but picked Ownershift so that our employees can share in the ownership. We know we are leaving the company with an incredible group of people who will reach new heights.”
