Koa Capital Partners Acquires Accel Event Rentals
Generational Equity is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Ariel Enterprises Inc. dba Accel Party Rentals & Design, by Koa Capital Partners LLC. The transaction closed June 16, 2017.
Accel Event Rentals, based in Aiea, Hawaii, provides quality rental equipment to the Hawaiian Islands. The company offers a wide selection of traditional and trendy pieces, and delivers total quality management services to customers, which has earned the company an excellent reputation. Scott Rabe, Accel President and Owner, will remain the head of Accel and continue to manage its operations.
Founded in 2014 by Dustin Sellers and Chris Eldridge, Koa Capital Partners is based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Both tenured entrepreneurs in their own right, their vision for Koa is to preserve and enhance the small-to-medium business community in Hawaii. Sellers and Eldridge recognized Rabe as a leader in his field and provided him with capital to grow his business while maintaining the company’s commitment to the highest level of customer service.
Generational Equity Managing Director Stephen Crisham’s team, led by trusted affiliate Jim Mayfield with support from Generational Equity VP Lori Galloway, successfully closed the deal. Generational Equity Senior Managing Director Tom Braun established the initial relationship with Accel.
Mayfield stated, “Both parties respected each other’s acumen in the negotiations, with each working to quickly provide answers to any and all questions posed by the other party. This really helped to close the deal in an efficient manner.”
