Meter Service & Supply Acquired by Winsupply
We are pleased to announce the sale of our client, Fritsch Equipment Corporation to Local Group of Private Investors (led by SLK Finance and in Partnership with Ron Fritsch). The transaction closed February 29, 2024.
Meter Service & Supply (MSS), located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a leading supplier of gas, water, electrical, and sewer products, which support local/regional government agencies, general contractors, and DIYers. In operation since 1947, the Company has developed a tremendous market presence and reputation.
Winsupply, headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, is a leading supplier of materials for residential and commercial construction as well as industrial use. Since 1956, Winsupply has provided enterprising entrepreneurs with the opportunity to own and operate their own business, all with the support of committed support and services. Jeff Dice, president of Winsupply Inc., welcomed Meter Supply into the Winsupply family.

Currently serving as the president of Meter Supply, Jerry Deming looks forward to continuing in a management capacity and transitioning leadership to Casey Belew, who will assume the president’s role. Belew is relocating from River Valley Winwater, where he was mentored by President Michael Carter. Belew completed Winsupply’s Management Development Training Program in 2023, preparing him for this transition to president at Meter Supply.
“The acquisition of Meter Supply is a significant strategic move for us, as it allows us to expand our waterworks portfolio in Memphis, Tennessee,” said Greg Holbrock, vice president of mergers and acquisitions due diligence and financial integration at Winsupply.

Generational Group Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team, led by Senior Managing Director, M&A, Jerry Yocum, with the support of Managing Director, M&A, Ryan Johnson closed the deal. Senior Managing Director, Doug Morrow established the initial relationship with MSS.
