Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client S&S Fire Suppression Systems, Inc. (S&S or the Company), headquartered in Tappan, NY, by Davis-Ulmer Fire Sprinkler Company, Inc., headquartered in Buffalo, NY. The acquisition closed on October 1, 2014.

Founded in 1961 by Domenick and Sam Serrano, S&S designs and installs fire suppression systems and provides inspection, testing, and maintenance services for fire suppression systems. S&S has served the New York State, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and western Connecticut regions for over 50 years. The Company serves local construction companies and contractors for new construction and renovation projects.

Managing Directors Doug Smith and Michael Goss led the Generational Equity deal team that advised S&S on the transaction.
